Registration includes race shirt, peronalized race bib and with timing chip, always cool finishers medal and option to purchase discounted Brewfest and/or Winefest ticket with logo glass. Register as a TEAM of 5 to 20 to compete for awards and get a free IPA10K beer coozie.
Note that you must have purchased an entry and be wearing your race bib to enter the starting area and run the race! Security and on-course volunteers will be checking this year.
The Hallowine Half Marathon is open to runners only with a 3 hour time limit. No casual walkers please as the course will close at 10:30am. The Half Marathon field is limited to 700 runners. The half marathon starts in the Analy High School parking lot.
IPA10K is open to runners and fast walkers. The IPA10K first wave starts at 8:10am with a toast of appreciation before runners embark on a scenic 6.2 mile loop course. The course winds its way through a neighborhood past the high school onto country roads north of Sebastopol before returning on the W. County Trail and back to The Barlow. Elite and faster runners in first wave. 8 to 12 min/mile runners in the Wave 2 and slow runners and fast walkers in Wave 3 along with 3K runners.
The 3K is open to runners and walkers of all ages. It start in the end wave after the first two waves of the 10K. Strollers are allowed. Dogs are permitted but MUST be registered as a Wagging Tail entry! You must be registered in the 10K or the 3K to run with your dog. Dogs must wear their race bandana and you must wear your race bib.
Beer Mile

The 2-Person Beer Mile races are followed by the Bellemore Invitational Beer Mile featuring the Womens and Men’s Elites and Pros from Noon to 12:30pm
The Brewery 4-person relay is the final competition starting at 12:45.
This is an opportunity to showcase your beer chugging and running skills to a (mostly) supportive, cheering crowd. Each person must complete 2 beers and 2 laps in any order you choose. One beer at the beginning of each lap. 2-person teams can be men, women, or coed. If you’re inspired (crazy) and good enough, enter as an individual and run all four laps and drink 4 beers. Prize awarded to the fastest team. There will be two timed heats and a maximum of 16 total teams (8 per heat).
Bring your own beer in bottle or can (at least 12 ounces and 5.0% ABV or higher). Bring 4 beers, or beer will be provide by our beer sponsor, Lagunitas Brewing (Pilsner 5.0%).
Race Rules
WAVES: IPA10K runners will leave in waves determined by the field size and pace with fastest runners (sub 9 minute mile in the first wave. Elite runners at the front. The race is chip timed so your time will officially begin when you cross the timing mat at the start line. Take extra precaution as you start the race and please abide by the directions provided by the race director and announcer.
BIBS: You must run with a registered bib in your name and wear it so it’s visible on your shirt or shorts. Failure to run with a bib will result in immediate ejection. If you cannot attend the race, bib transfers are allowed but must be completed on the registration page in advance, or at the expo.
RULES: Law enforcement officers and course marshal volunteers are positioned on course for your safety. Law enforcement may require runners to stop for safety reasons. ALWAYS stay inside the cones on the roadways as per directional signage and chalk. Straying outside of the defined cone line is dangerous and could result in immediate disqualification.
NO roller blades, skateboards, bicycles, or other wheels on course. Baby strollers designed for runners. Dogs are permitted if registered as Wagging Tail entry and must begin at the back of the starting line in the 3K. Dogs are also permitted in the 10K if they are able to run 6.2 miles at your pace.
Portable music with headphones are allowed but must be kept at low volume so runners can hear approaching traffic and verbal instructions from law enforcement and volunteers. Failure to abide may result in DQ.
Awards
There will be awards for the following categories. Awards will be handed out on the band stage starting at 10:00am. If you do not claim your award on the stage it can be picked up after the awards have been posted and announced at the information booth.
IPA10K - Beer awards to top three men and women in age groups (divisions determined by # of entries).
Beer Award to fastest IPA10K team using USATF handicap system for age/sex. Teams of 5 to 20 with with minimum 5 runners time averaged.
3K - Beer award for top 3 men and women overall only.
NOTE: Gift certificates go to under 21 categories.
HALLOWINE Half Marathon
Wine bottle award to top three men and women in age groups (divisions determined by # of entries).
Wine Award to fastest half marathon team using USATF handicap system for age/sex. Teams of 5 to 20 with with minimum 5 runners time averaged.
BEER MILE
Fastest team in the 2-Person Beer Mile Team Competition receives beer award
Winning team in Beer Mile Brewery Relay Challenge receives beer award and perpetual trophy
Top 3 women and men receive cash prize in Beer Mile Competiion. Minimum of $2,000 in prize money awarded.
Wagging Tails - Dog baskets go to the following in Wagging Tail division. 1. Best Doggie Costume, 2. Swifest Dog and 3. Cutest Dog. Judges will be from Pets Lifeline and A GOOD RUN and audience participation.
Costume Contest - There will be a costume contest held at the beginning of the awards ceremony. Awards go to 1. Best Individual or 2-person costume 2. Best team costume (the more the merrier). Audience participation and announcer serve as judges. Bonus points go to costumes worn in the
